Artist in Residence has been selected by Kirkus Indie Editors to be featured in the Kirkus Reviews 12/1 issue. The review will appear as one of 35 reviews in the Indie section of the magazine which is sent out to over 5,200 industry professionals (librarians, publishers, agents, etc.). Less than 10% of Indie reviews are chosen for this, so it is a great honor to be featured.

Born in England, Charles Harley has lived most of his life abroad. Following extended stays in an assortment of countries in Europe and the Americas, he has settled in the United States.

Charles is currently writing an account of the commissioning and destruction of Pablo Picasso’s portrait of T. E. Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia).
